British photographer Mary McCartney has focused her work on discovering those rare moments of unguarded, emotionally-charged intimacy that offers us a new insight into the subject. With an incredible talent at capturing the perfect moment and a tender approach to her craft, Mary’s portraits and reportage photography capture the inner beauty and unabashed familiarity of her subjects.
Mary McCartney has been a delight to work with for the Moments in Light project. Having displayed an extraordinary ability to reveal the brilliance of women in her work, she was able to demonstrate this once more in the discovery of her selection of talented women. The five women Mary has chosen each display a matchless expertise in their craft and equally shone when placed in front of Mary’s camera for their individual photo shoots.
Did you take a different approach to this photography project than normal?
